New Home

Just like these babushka dolls, we have a new home. It's taking me some time to get us unpacked and settled, but we're very happy with our new place. What a change to be in a house that's about 30 years old (and has been well taken care of) compared to living in Edith (around a 100 years old and neglected). We're loving all the modern conveniences that we now have (like lights in every room and reliable plumbing ;o).
My sewing space is a mess at the moment, but I do have some projects underway to share soon. Stay tuned! :o)

  8. Hi Katherine! Glad your new place is so great. Ours is just the same for us. (We left the unreliable plumbing etc behind too!) My sewing area is almost perfect. I will spend the weekend sewing! Hope you get a moment or two to sew too!

  9. Hi Katherine.... oh what fun to start a new chapter of your life.....

Moving ourselves and our gathered stuffs, with all the ups and downs, provides such a perfect opportunity for starting fresh, don't you think? Especially if we remember to chuck out some of our less appealing mindsets and habits along with those old jars and gadgets we've outgrown.

Putting our treasures in new corners gives us eyes to see it all afresh. What a great gift.

Ahhhh..... I wish you happy days as you nestle your life into your new space. May lots of joy hang from every curtain rod and settle on every bookshelf!
