I couldn't wait any longer to start sewing my Vintage Blue Quilt

I'm hoping to find one more thrifty piece. I'm talking less than the amount of fabric found in one vintage pillowcase is all I need. I know it's just a matter of time before I locate that last thrifty find. That's why I sewed together as much as I could without the final necessary piece...

while I continue to search for a vintage blue piece. Recent results? I did land this vintage beauty which may not be the colour I want for this project...but it will do quite nicely for the vintage pink quilt I want to make (but not until that colour collection grows a wee bit more). I must thrift more often. ;o) Guess what I want to do on Sat.?

  1. You find the best fabrics in your searches. I'll bet that you get really excited when you find a gem hidden in the piles.

Your log cabins are so pretty. A doll quilt would be wonderful. The pillow looks so bright and cheery.

  4. If only I still had some of those vintage pillowcases we had at home back in the 1970s, you could have had one of those. x

  8. I had a little blue fabric leftover from a sheet I have been using and using for so many things. I am thinking that it isn't what your looking for but given that I have moved on from using it I thought you might be able to...on its way along with a few other goodies...gosh that took me a while to get in the mail!
