More hours in a day? WIP Wednesday...

Okay, maybe there's not more hours in the day, but it feels like it now that Spring has really arrived (it was 28Celsius here on Monday - about a 30 degree difference from the previous Monday and the several inches of snow it delivered)!
Besides the warmer weather, I'm loving the increase in daylight hours that this time of year brings.
Plus, it's always funny how sunshine and warmer temperatures give me more energy than ever for getting things done.
Things like finishing the hand stitching on the binding of my Pop Star quilt

and some Spring cleaning (who knew that walls could get so dirty?! ;o)
Here's to a Happy Spring day!

I'm linking up with all my Canadian friends today...
Let's go check out what they have going on this Wednesday!

Oh, before I get back to my Spring cleaning.... I want to send out a  HUGE "Thanks!" to everyone that has entered my giveaway , so far.  Your responses will go a long way in helping me with my pattern writing and I appreciate your help greatly.

Missed the giveaway post?

  1. I went back a few posts to see more of this quilt.....LOVE the fabrics you are using. I totally agree about the extra daylight. I find I'm much more productive.

  2. love the colours in your quilt, but for the life of me I could never figure out the reason for those little clips...

Like you, those brighter days seem to instill a certain motivation to do things, that just is not there in the dark days of winter.

  4. I'm glad you are enjoying spring! I have to admit that I am loving autumn here. Aren't we lucky that we have seasons and that the year is not always the same? I feel infinitely blessed to have long days and short days. I think we humans need change to thrive ;)

Lovely, lovely quilt. You use the most beautiful fabrics Katherine.
