My list for the third quarter of the Finish-A-Long was short
and yet I only managed one finish from that list. It is my version of Impromptu (click here).

One out of three possible finishes. Not my best quarter for finishes! Happily, I finally made some progress this quarter on the king-size quilt using 5" granny square blocks. I've made almost half of the needed blocks, last count has 82 blocks sewn. Whew.
Obviously, this WIP is headed for the list for the fourth quarter. ;o)
I can hardly believe it's the last quarter of 2013! Time to get that list ready and get set to do some finishes (because I happened to start more projects than I finished this quarter ;o).
How did you do with finishing projects over the summer?
I did really badly Katherine and have loads of excuses of course ;) I love your sweet quilt and know your grannies will be stunning!
ReplyDeleteI was doing really well for the first half of the year, finishing 5 out of 15 quilt UFO's. Then I decided to do 5 (which morphed into 6) toddler quilts for Christmas, and the UFO pile has been untouched since July, lol. Oh well - it's not as if I haven't been doing anything at all - it was a change in focus :D The UFO's will be finished next year - or at least - the numbers will go down :D
ReplyDeleteI had two finishes out of six. Your little quilt is very sweet.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice finish it is though!! I had 3/4, so not too bad....I understand about starting new things though!
ReplyDeleteThat is one big quilt! And what a fabulous finish. The curvy quilting - Love that! Nice stack of Granny Squares. You have lots to be proud of!
ReplyDeleteEvery finish needs some cheering!
