Still stitching snowflakes

One of the things I love best about having a room dedicated to my sewing, is that any moment I can, I'm in it stitching.

It's a good thing too, as I won't win any awards for speed when it comes to paper piecing.  That being said, I am certainly enjoying sewing Julianna's blocks from her  Last Minute Christmas Sampler QAL.   I've just finished a new version of her snowflake block, which happens to be a mirror image of the first version.  I. Am. In. Love. ;o)

  1. The snowflakes look so great together! I'm not surprised that you're in love.
I was wondering if you are planning to make more blocks or you're working to finish your forest:) I hope that you will make some works for the contest:)

  4. These are beautiful Katherine! It's great to have sewing room, other wise I couldn't find time to sew. It's nice to know that any spare moment we have, we can just continue from where we left the work. x Teje

  7. Beautiful snowflakes. I too love my sewing space. I don't know how I did it when I used the kitchen table.

  8. Oh my goodness I'm not sure which of the snowflakes I love best!! That was the block I've been most drawn to in the QAL too but I haven't found the time to stitch it up yet. Job well done!
