Some quality time in the kitchen this weekend resulted in these family favourites...
Some quality time with my sewing machine resulted in progress on this fabric gingerbread house...
Interspersed between these activities was time spent curled up with a good book and a mug of tea while my guys read, drew and built Lego creations. Ahhhh... reasons to love weekends.
Hope you all had a sweet weekend, too!

That's funny - I just blogged about making cinnamon buns too. Though yours look a lot more sticky and sweet than mine (don't tell my kids, they'll be round for some of yours instead)!
ReplyDeleteLooks yummy Katherine!

p.s. I've had Katherine's and they are delicious!
YUM!! Sounds like a perfect weekend - a little baking, a little sewing, a little sitting. What more could one ask for.
ReplyDeleteI'm jealous of your sweet weekend. we were sick, sick, sick. well, we still are. :(

ReplyDeleteMmm mmmmm...I can almost smell the cinnamon buns. Yum!
ReplyDeleteOh Katherine, I also wanted to let you know that I got my satin stitch foot, and thanks to your tutorial, I am now an embroidering fool! Still working on the cornering technique, but I'm getting there. :)
