I was asked to show how my embroidery was progressing, so here's a look at where I'm at...
Don't you love the blackberries made from French knots?
This is such a relaxing project to have on the go. It's a different pace from my machine stitched projects, which is good. I'm always wanting things finished quick, quick; but with this type of work, I'm learning patience can be rewarding. What type of projects do you find most relaxing?

Your tablecloth looks amazing Katherine!
ReplyDeleteThe most relaxing projects... handquilting, knitting and embroideries.
Happy weekend!
you are making great progress on your tablecloth. It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI find handstitching quilt binding to be very relaxing. I think it's helpful that it's the finishing touch. :)
That is positivly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAnd I do just adore your blackberries! I do not think I would have such patience to finish sucha large project!
Sew pretty! What a wonderful find. I love to hand stitch. Embroidery is so rewarding as well as relaxing. I love to look at the finished product too. The more embroidery I have around me the calmer I feel.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work!
ReplyDeleteEmbroidery projects are also relaxing for me.
Honestly I don't like much for sewing machine - only when it HAS to be. I do like handmade everything I can.
So pretty! Love the colors and the berries are too cute.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I have to say, the red and pink star quilt in the last post...GORGEOUS!
Kimberly :)
Your stitching is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLooking good. I find stitcheries the most relaxing to do. I like to 'watch' TV while I'm stitching.
ReplyDeleteThe embroidery is beautiful. That will really be something when you finish it.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt top looks fabulous. You must be getting excited about finihing it.
Hi Katherine! I saw a post of yours on another site in which you spoke about loving comments, and I just wanted to add a bit of happiness to your day by stopping by. Your site is beautiful without being intimidating, and I'm sure if I met you you would personify the same.
ReplyDeleteI personally enjoy knitting, though my two of my three young daughters are much better at it than I am.
Know you and your work are loved and celebrated.
Wow!!!!! This is so gorgeous. What talent you have.
