Back

Apparently, I needed a little blogging break and didn't realize I did, until I took it. ;o)  I was feeling burnt out.

Basting is underway on the Swoon quilt I started last year.

Imagine this.  I haven't been sewing at all for the past month (shocking, I know, the truest indicator of lost mojo ;o). I had things in my life that were weighing me down, so I slowed things down for a bit.  Regrouped and focused my energy into other things that keep me healthy and happy.  Like time outdoors and time spent exercising.  However,  I have been busy designing things on paper.  There are lots of things I want to make and I even have a tutorial in the works for sharing.  Lots to be excited about!  A break was the right thing to do and now I'm back.

  5. You are so right about listening to that inner voice that tells us to slow down! I know I don't sew as much as used to because I like to walk most days! It's all about balance! I hope you are back into tiptop form- now or soon! I look forward to seeing your tutorial too!

  6. I have been taking breaks, too. My job takes up some of my time and I find it easier to post snippets on Instagram.

I love the bright happy colors in your quilt!

  13. I hope you're feeling better now and the blog break did the trick. I 've lost my sewing mojo somewhat too, but luckily my embroidery, beading and crochet mojos are going strong.
