Sewcial Bee Sampler - Week # 11

Can you believe it? This is week eleven in the Sewcial Bee Sampler sew along, hosted by Sharon Holland and Maureen Cracknell!  Four Square  is the block for this week (for the free download to make this block, visit Maureen's or Sharon's blog).

I love that the design of this block allowed me to use up some scrappy strips in my stash, along with some small squares.  I would like to say that I'm making a huge dent in my scrap stash, but we all know that isn't the case. ;o)  However, I am having the best time finding just the "right" (or right now?) treasured bits to combine for each block.  The hardest part is making only one version... there is a part of me that wants to try so many more versions and colour combinations for the blocks each week.  That's why I love being a part of the sew along - I get to experience (second hand) all kinds of fun alternate versions of the blocks, without making any more than my usual one block/week. ;o)
