Tiny Terrific Tulips Mini Quilt

Presenting my latest sewing pattern,  the Tiny Terrific Tulips Mini Quilt!

It features three sizes of tiny tulip blocks and a wee butterfly, all traditionally pieced, so no specialty rulers or tools needed to sew your own version to celebrate Springtime.

Construction of these tiny blocks is easier than it looks - actually the hardest part is choosing the fabrics!

The tiny terrific tulips mini quilt pattern will guide you through each step with colour graphics for the piecing and with colour photos for finishing (basting, quilting and binding).  Don't worry if you've never sewn half rectangle triangles before, my pattern will show you how to make them without the need of a specialty ruler (you're welcome to use one of course, but you don't need to buy one to be able to sew this pattern).  I also walk you through sewing a two fabric flange binding - which makes for a fun way to finish your mini quilt.

Grab your scraps for this pattern - it's a fun way to sew from your stash and use up some treasured bits of fabric you've been saving for something special (or maybe I'm the only one that does that 😜). Speaking of treasured bits of fabric, that yellow tulip in the above photo is the last remaining piece I received from a lovely friend in the Netherlands, seemed fitting that it became a tulip!  I also had fun fussy cutting the fabric to create the little butterfly in the version above.

I hope my new pattern has you dreaming of sewing up some tiny terrific tulip blocks for your own mini quilt or maybe a table runner to use as a Spring decoration!
