Lots of crafting going on... nothing finished

I had hoped to have some finished projects to share by the end of the week, but instead I'll give you a bit of a glimpse at things in progress. This is what one end of my dining room table/sewing table presently looks like...

Here's the in progress mess at the other end of the table...

I decided to spare you the shock of seeing the other stacks of materials surrounding the table (stacked on the chairs and covering the buffet). It's a rather scary sight! Someday, I'll have a craft/sewing room designed specifically to house everything. For now, the dining room works just fine.

Hoping you all have a wonderful weekend doing things that you enjoy and hopefully I'll have some new projects to share with you next week.

  1. Looks like lots of fun stuff going on! I love the patchworked zippered pouch. I need to start using up some scraps and that looks like a great way to do it!

  3. SO many wonderful things you are doing, Kathrine!!!!

Your quilt for your son is still very, very beautiful...I think it is such a fantastic gift from the heart. Your son made me laugh with his wish for a manly fabric on the back!!

The transformation of the wool sweater is also absolutly adoring...You get such great ideas :0) I love all of the dots and the brown.

Finally I recognize the creative mess on your table....eventhough I have a room for it, I still make a mess at our big table in the kitchen. I'm hopeless!

    Have a nice weekend.
    Ulla :0)

  4. My dinner table looked just like yours! I moved all my sewing stuff upstaurs to my studio. Now I miss the cosiness of stitching in the dining room...
