Scrappy Red Patchwork

I plundered my stash of scraps for reds and got busy on a new scrappy project. See for yourself why I love scraps so much! I took my fabric mess from this...

to this!
It's a good start. I still seem to have plenty of scraps to keep me going. Hmmm...I guess my scrappy red patchwork is just beginning. ;o)

    Whenever I come and visit, I always feel like my eyes and soul are soaking in the colours like a dry sponge.

    I wear a lot of black in the winter time, maybe I've dropped dangerously low in my daily vitamin dose of colours!

    For I always feel rejuvenated when I see all your gorgeous fabric and works in progress.

    how pretty! I have been loving red lately! I was on an orange kick for a while but with Valentine's coming up and all the pretty reds everywhere this just seems so perfect!

    Hi Katherine,

    I love red in quilts. It just seems to have so much life. E and I were just at the quilt shop on Mon. and saw a lovely red scrappy quilt that made me want to set down the knitting needles and sew for a while.
